Wherever we are, we find the Yoga and bring it to you!

Yoga News Room

Yoga is going ALL the time in Hong Kong. There are studios EVERYWHERE. No matter where you go the class is bound to be as intense as the studio competition. Its SERIOUS business yoga in HK. The city has a fast-paced, success driven atmosphere - and the classes have achieved this with their incredible teachers and focused classes. Classes can hold anywhere from 40 to 100 students per class and the studios are pre booking classes due to how busy they are. If you want to take your practice to a whole other level - theres no messing around, with highly qualified teachers and inspiring yogi's all around this is one great place to be to enjoy a break from the hussle and bussle of city life.

* Yoga prices are high here. A single class is $300HK, or a week for $2500HK.

Travelling takes a toll on our bodies. The hours of sitting and awkward sleeping, jet lag and usually unhealthy eating. Before any trip the best way to ensure you feel your best is to drink as much water as possible. Eat light both before and after travelling and always plan an hour of walking, swimming, yoga or gym time just to get the energy and blood flowing to all the joints and muscles after being stiff for so long.

Must Have Items For travelling:

Lotion (usually we get dehydrated faster due to the AC)

Water

Toothbrush & Toothpaste

Perfume

A good book or music.

Time flies when we are enjoying ourselves, learning something new or meeting new people. Try to "be in the moment."  and enjoy all the spontaneous joys of your adventures.

Ive been on the yoga wagon for 12 years now. Id say its the only thing thats been consistent in my life for the last 12 years. As I travel and Im not at my "home" studio, I dont practice as much. I love being in class with others having a teacher telling me to inhale longer and hold another 15 seconds when Im shaking to the bone and the muscles are burning. So as I return to my first class in almost a year as a student and not as the teacher I inhale my passion and conviction that yoga is not a fad.

No - Yoga is the most instantaniously rewarding activity we can do. Within 75 minutes I have invigorated every joint in my body, used every muscle and breathed deeply nourishing my body with fresh oxygen to every cell. My body is rehydrated as I drink water before and after class and my energy is rejuvinated. There is no practice that I have experienced yet that is so effective so fast.

With my conviction restored, and the experience that I believe everyone deserves I charge forward to do what I can to ensure that yoga is accessible to more peopel around the world.

If everyone started to make yoga a part of their life, they would first off experience incredible transformation in their body from regulation of bowel movements, weight loss, enhanced flexibility, muscle developement, increased bone density, balanced hormones and adrenal glands, pain relief....just to name a few.

Imagine if these results were obtained by everyone practicing yoga 1 hour or more each day or even several times per week the relief on our health care system and the money people would save from having to buy medicine for all their ailments and pains.

Yoga naturally restores our bodies exactly as we require. As we move with our breath, we allow our body to nurture and restore health to itself with the innate wisdom we were born with. Its a reflex which we get in the way of these days, and in yoga we allow our mind to step aside and the breath to guide us to the most invigorated self we can be.

Most of us have probably forgotten that we are born to be healthy and productive. If we care for our bodies our bodies last and its only by bad lifestyle and self-neglect that we habour illnesses and pain in our bodies and by living with care and by partaking in activities like yoga we encourage the natural healing and health within our bodies.

With this I invite you to experience for yourself the world of yoga.
